The adapter clicks in and locks with a satisfying snap, and my softbox mounts perfectly without any wobble. Set-up took under a minute and now my light finally feels like a proper studio unit.

Fitted my softbox in under a minute — the locking ring clicks in nice and firm, no wobble at all once it’s seated. Now the Smart Lite feels like a completely different, much more versatile light.

Finally got this adapter to use my existing Bowens softboxes with my 60W COB light, and it locks on securely without any wobble. The build feels solid enough for studio work, and it clicks into place exactly like my other Bowens mounts. Makes switching between modifiers a breeze.
