(B-Stock) Nissin MG8 Hammerhead Flashgun

The b-stock label had me braced for scratches, but this flashgun looks practically untouched and the recycle time is snappy enough for wedding work without missing a beat. The minor cosmetic ding it has is invisible once it's mounted on the camera anyway.

Wasn't sure what to expect with a B-stock flash, but the only sign of wear is a tiny scratch on the base plate that you can't even see when it's mounted. The output is punchy and consistent with studio lighting, and the modeling lamp is a lifesaver for previewing shadows.

The recycle time is noticeably faster than my old unit, and even though this is B-stock, the only flaw I can find is a tiny scuff on the side. It fires reliably every time and the tilt head locks in place perfectly.
