Took it on a weekend hike with my mirrorless setup and honestly forgot the head was there until I needed it. The compact size is perfect for a lightweight kit, and the ball locks down solid with zero drift even on a slightly uneven rock.

The aluminium alloy build feels really solid, and the locking mechanism holds my mirrorless camera perfectly steady even with a longer lens attached. I've been using it for a few days now and it’s exactly the compact, reliable support I needed for hiking trips.

The ball head is so compact I almost forgot it was on my camera bag until I needed it, and the aluminium alloy frame handles my telephoto lens without any droop. Locks down tight with a single twist, no fiddly micro-adjusting.
